Tuesday, November 29th people around the world will come together to participate in a global day of giving, #GivingTuesday. 2022 marks the anniversary of the New Mexico Ballet Company’s 50th season. NMBC would not be celebrating this monumental milestone in our company if it were not for the support of every dancer that has come through the doors, every teacher and director who has helped shape the company, every volunteer who has donated their time, every supporter of the arts who has found a way to share with us from near and far, every patron of the arts who has attended a show, and now YOU!
This #GivingTuesday, NMBC aspires to raise funds to support the behind-the-scenes efforts that keep our organization dancing. From office supplies and utility bills to paying our faculty and staff for their tireless work training our students, these day-to-day needs are essential for keeping our company of artists in the spotlight. During our 50th anniversary, we are excited to share the rich history of arts in Albuquerque and the impact NMBC has had on it.
This year, we were able to open the doors to our own space. We have been able to conduct hundreds of classes to a record number of enrolled students. Now more than ever, your support will ensure our new doors remain open and welcoming to future generations of dancers pursuing their dreams in the studio and onstage. Join us this #GivingTuesday and help us continue to positively contribute to the future of arts education and live performance in our community!
We encourage you to join us on our social media pages where you’ll hear from NMBC students, staff, and dancers about how dance has impacted their lives
