NMBC’s one-week intensive for beginners to advanced students features daily classes taught by guest artists Tyler Angle, Davonna Batt, and Sarah Schafer, as well as NMBC faculty members Adeline Wylie, Constanza Murphy, and Corey Nagel. Classes will include ballet, pointe, variations, modern, jazz, improvisation, choreography, dancer wellness lectures, and more. Intensive dates are Monday, July 22 – Saturday, July 27.
Online registration will open on Monday, April 29, 2024. Early bird: register and pay by May 31. Final registration deadline: July 15, 2024.

Beginner Intensive – Level A
- Ages 8+ with at least one semester of prior ballet training OR current NMBC Level 1
- Monday – Friday, 10:00am-12:15pm
- Saturday 10:00-11:15am
- 12.5 hours of instruction in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Improv
- Deposit: $75 (non-refundable)
- Early Bird Tuition due May 31: $210

Young Dancer Intensive – Level B
- Ages 10+ with at least 2 years of prior ballet training OR current NMBC Level 2
- Monday – Friday 12:30-4:00pm
- Saturday 11:15am-2:30pm
- 20.5 hours of instruction in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Improv, Lyrical, Healthy Dancer
- Parents, Family & Friends are invited to attend an informal showcase on Saturday 1:45-2:30pm.
- Deposit: $75 (non-refundable)
- Early Bird Tuition due May 31: $345
- Full Tuition due July 15: $375
Guest Intensive – Levels C & D
- Ages 12+, intermediate to advanced OR current NMBC Levels 3, 4, 5
- Monday – Friday, 10:00am-4:00pm
- Saturday 10:00am-2:30pm
- 31.5 hours of instruction in Ballet, Pointe, Variations, Modern, Jazz, Improv, Contemporary, Pilates
- 30 minute lunch break Monday – Friday
- Dancers will be assigned to two groups (Level C or Level D) on the first day of the intensive.
- Parents, Family & Friends are invited to attend an informal showcase on Saturday 1:45-2:30pm.

New to NMBC or unsure of your level placement?
- Send us an email with your student’s name, age, current training location, experience level, contact information, and a 5 minute video demonstrating your ballet technique. Videos should include simple combinations of barre and center work: plié, tendu, rond de jambe, frappe, adage, grand battement, pirouette, petit allegro, grand allegro. Pointe work if applicable: any combinations including echappé, rélevé passé, pirouettes, turns along the diagonal.
