Victoria is a native New Mexican and first started her love of ballet at age eight. She began taking classes at La Mesa Dance Academy in Albuquerque, New Mexico under the instruction of Cecelia Jaramillo and Linda Tillotson until its closure in 2019. During her time at La Mesa, Victoria began demonstrating for the younger classes and found a love for teaching children. In 2021, she graduated from the University of New Mexico with an Elementary Education degree and now teaches third grade at a school within the local district in New Mexico. She loves teaching young dancers how to express themselves through movement and watching their development grow into aspiring dancers. This will be her second year teaching at NMBC and she could not imagine a better place to teach her love of dance.
