Thomas Russ recently moved to Albuquerque from Stafford, Virginia. He has danced for about 15 years, and while his forte is hip-hop, his is proficient in many other genres such as ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, ballroom, bachata, partnering, and others. His recent dance performing experience includes dancing for the Goldrush Dance Team at Georgia Tech, where he performed at events like Georgia Tech collegiate football and basketball games, the ACC Conference Basketball Tournament, the Super Bowl LIII Halftime Show, and the McDonald’s High School All American pep rally. Currently, Thomas teaches hip-hop at NMBC, coaches the dance team at St Pius X High School, and helps coach for the Albuquerque Dance Collaborative.
