Get to Know Natalia Harrison
Natalia Harrison was born and raised in Albuquerque where she began her training at Alwin’s School of Dance at age three. She has been dancing classical ballet for 19 years, as well as many other forms of dance including contemporary, jazz, tap, and modern. She has performed in various productions including The Nutcracker, George Balanchine’s Valse Fantasy, The Sleeping Beauty, and Aladdin & The Magic Lamp, as well as playing the role of Mary in both Christmas Joy and How Love Wins. In 2014, Natalia was selected to compete in the Cecchetti International Classical Ballet Competition where she placed in the finals earning her a scholarship with Richmond Ballet Company as a trainee for a year. There, she trained rigorously, performing in The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, George Balanchine’s Serenade, and several contemporary pieces. Natalia is thrilled to be performing as a contract dancer with New Mexico Ballet Company for her fourth year.
