WORKSHOPS & INTENSIVE

Fairytale Ballet Workshop (ages 3 – 7): June 24 – 28

Monday – Friday 10:00am – 12:30pm

Class (CM & PB) 10:00 – 11:00am

Our Fairytale Ballet Workshop for students ages 3 – 7 years is inspired by beloved classical ballets such as The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Swan Lake and more. The daily schedule includes a one-hour creative movement (3 – 4 years) or pre-ballet (5 – 7 years) class, classical ballet story time, a craft project (make your own tutu and tiara!), and rehearsal to learn a dance. On the last day, friends and family are invited to watch your little dancer perform. Reserve your spot and register before May 25 for the early bird discount!

Young Dancer Workshop (ages 8 + and teen, beg/beg intermediate): July 22 – 26

The Young Dancer Workshop is geared toward beginning ballet students age 8 and up, including teens. Daily classes include dance conditioning for building strength and body awareness, ballet technique, and contemporary/jazz. Students will learn a dance during the workshop to perform for family and friends on the last day. Reserve your spot and register before May 25 for the early bird discount!  

Guest Intensive with Tyler Angle: July 29 – August 3

Monday – Saturday: 10:00am – 3:00pm

Tuition: $325, early bird registration before May 25: $300

For intermediate (ages 11+), advanced & professional dancers 

NMBC is thrilled to welcome back Tyler Angle (Principal, New York City Ballet) as a guest instructor. Daily classes will include ballet technique, pointe, variations, repertoire, and more. For intermediate to professional dancers, age 11 and up. Pointe work is recommended but not required for dancers to participate. Intermediate students not yet in pointe may take pointe and variations classes in flat shoes. Level placement for pointe work will be determined by NMBC faculty. Students new to NMBC wishing to participate are encouraged to take a placement class at NMBC prior to the intensive.
